Please note

We like to think of our bars as the love children of a raw prohibition speakeasy fused with a stylish gin society.

Both of our bars are in the towns which helped inspire our name (Y Bont-faen and Pen-y-bont) and at both of them you’ll not only find our in-house distillery operations on display for all to see but also be able sample some of the freshest Bont Gin you’ll ever get your hands on. So come climb our stairs in Cowbridge or Bridgend and we’ll make it worth your while… but just a heads up: We don’t accept cash. Card is king!

  • "NC" opened as a brand-new wine and cocktail bar in 2014 and helped as a catalyst in reshaping the Bridgend evening economy into what it is today. In 2019 the menu was tweaked to focus more on gin… then in 2020 Bridgend’s first ever distillery was built and launched. You'll find the birthplace and heartbeat of Bont Gin operations on show in the corner of the bar.
